Dylan Allshorn put the Bay 1-0 up on 25 minutes after good work from Tom Creamer.

Udi Akpan headed home a Nick Rushton cross to double the Bay’s lead on 30 minutes.

Llanwrst had a goal disallowed following a foul on a Bay player.

Akpan hit the Llanrwst bar with a header from a Jamie Cumming cross.

Half-time: Colwyn Bay FC 2 Llanrwst Town 0.

Into the second half which saw the Bay’s Nick Rushton forcing a good save from Llanrwst keeper Ryan Williams.

Udi Akpan scored his second goal of the match with a good finish to put the Bay 3-0 up after 58 minutes.

Joe Smith replaced Alfie Brooks in the Bay goal and Joe made a fine save from Llanrwst’s star striker Callum Parry.

Sam Turner made it 4-0 for the Bay following a swift counter-attack when Llanrwst lost possession.

Callum Parry pulled one back for the visitors following a goalmouth scramble to make the score 4-1 to the Bay.

Parry scored again with a quality finish from the edge of the box to make the score 4-2 for the home side.

On 85 minutes Lloyd Marsh-Hughes put the Bay 5-2 up and Nick Rushton added number six after more good work from Dylan Allshorn.

In the opening 25 minutes both keepers made good saves to keep the score at 0-0.

Bala took the lead on 44 minutes through Ryan Rogers, but the Bay equalised when Guto Williams headed home from a corner in first half added time.

The Bay regained the lead in the second half, through new signing Brandon Diau, his first for the club, from a Jamie Cumming free kick. 2-1 for the Bay.

Louis Robles gave Newtown the lead with a smart finish.

He also scored Newtown’s second on 11 minutes.

Shambolic Bay defending led to Newtown’s third goal scored by Zell Ismail  after 17 minutes.

Alex Downes pulled a goal back for the Bay after 41 minutes and they created enough chances to have been level by half-time. Rushton and Hill both missed great opportunities to score.

Colwyn Bay FC held their own in the first half of their latest league encounter with the full-time outfit The New Saints.

TNS took the lead on 55 minutes with a header from Adrian Ciesiewicz.

The Bay created a couple of late chances to equalise but TNS took all three points to stay unbeaten and top of the league table.

Cardiff Met took the lead on 23 minutes with a close range shot from Sam Jones.

Cardiff were dominating the game at this juncture.

The Bay were forced to defend for large parts of the opening half but were still in the game at half-time.

In the second half Tom Creamer had an effort which cannoned off the Cardiff crossbar. There was also a big shout for a Bay penalty when Akpen went down in the box.

Colwyn Bay made a great start to the second half when Nick Rushton scored from the edge of the box to make the score 3-0 for the Bay.

After a promising first half which ended Abergele 1 Llysfaen FC 0 the second was very disappointing. Three goals in the last five minutes of the match for Abegele, against a tiring young Llysfaen team, overshadowed much of their good work.

This result is just part of the learning process for Llysfaen’s youngsters who are improving with each match.

Llysfaen’s youngsters shine despite a miserable scoreline.

This was a tough baptism for a number of Llysfaen’s young players who were making their senior debuts.

Six goals for Amateurs in the last quarter of an hour tended to overshadow a number of most encouraging performances from  Llysfaen’s youngsters.

Goals from Jake Reynolds, Joshua Smith, Harry Davies and a free kick from Nihat Sutlubulak ensured a quarter-final place in the REM Jones Cup.

Llysfaen will now play Y Glannau, next week’s league opponents, in the quarter finals.

Rhos United 4 Llysfaen FC 2 (Match abandoned after 80 minutes).

Llysfaen FC’s match with Rhos United was abandoned with ten minutes of normal time left when Rhos’s Matty Graham suffered a double break to his leg and a triple ankle break.

Rhos were leading 4-2 at the time.

We wish Matty a very speedy recovery from these horrific injuries.

A magnificent 7-2 victory at Betws-Y-Coed this afternoon helped to eliminate the bad memories of last week’s poor away defeat.

A slow start and a penalty miss by Llysfaen FC was enough to ensure Henllan picked up maximum points.

A Stoogie Collins goal for Llysfaen wasn’t enough to get anything from the game.

After a poor opening forty minutes there was plenty of effort and endeavour from the Llysfaen team but it wasn’t to be their day.
